The two-week long Xbox Live Indie Summer Uprising event will showcase a different Indie game every day for the next two weeks, and it kicks off today with Raventhorne, a side-scrolling viking beat-em up by Milkstone Studios.
Raventhorne costs 240 Microsoft point ($3), and puts you in the furry boots of a dead viking warrior who must fight his way through six worlds patterned after Norse mythology. The game has some RPG elements, and uses a stamina system to force players to use precise blocking, and combos rather than button mashing.
