Yooka Laylee Release Delay and Trailer

"Yooka Laylee manages to delay its release and raise hype all at once."
https://youtu.be/e1gxLvbX3Ow The true spiritual successor to the ever-popular platforming classic Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee, has just been announced... with a setback to early 2017. That’s right, in their E3 conference trailer, Playtonic Games have revealed a nice selection of platform-action goodness along with an unfortunate release delay from October of this year to Q1 2017. The news has been received surprisingly well, as the general population of the internet seems more interested in Playtonic’s promise of a more polished game than a faster release. That said, the bright and colorful eye-candy presented in their latest trailer makes the extended wait that much more excruciating. The general trend of video games has seen a fairly recent uprising of colorful action games, what with the relative successes of games like Overwatch, Battleborn, and even the newest Ratchet and Clank. If that trend keeps up, Yooka-Laylee wil find itself in a perfect position for success even outside of those long-time Banjo-Kazooie fans.
