Amazon’s Five New Pilots are Now Streaming
If you are looking for something to do during the interim between the summer and fall television seasons, Amazon has released its five new pilots for streaming on its site. The five pilots are the latest batch of programming from the site, which allowed viewers to vote on its inaugural round of pilots this past spring, sending six to series orders.
These five new pilots, dubbed "Wave 3" by Amazon, will be available to stream through Amazon's Instant Video, as well as on the amazonoriginals.com website. A number of recognized television personalities appears in the pilots, including Sarah Chalke (
Scrubs), Ron Pearlman (
Sons
of Anarchy), TR Knight (
Grey's Anatomy), Dana Delaney (
Body of Proof), and Chloe Sevigny (
Big Love).

Here's a bit more about each of the five pilots:
Really is a relationship comedy, focusing on the ins and outs of marriage and friendship in Chicago. The pilot stars Chalke and Selma Blair, among others.
Hand of God is a drama, starring Pearlman as a judge who embarks on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart, all while relying on messages he believes are coming from his coma-stricken son.
The Cosmopolitans is a comedy set in Paris (filmed on location), exploring the relationships between a group of ex-pat Americans. It stars Sevigny and Adam Brody (
The O.C.). The next pilot is
Red Oaks, a coming of age comedy, produced by Steven Soderbergh and starring Paul Reiser, Jennifer Grey, and Richard Kind. Finally, there is
Hysteria, which deals with a strange illness spreading through a community seemingly via technology.
