Batman v Superman Trailer 2 Review

"Review for the brand new and final Batman v Superman trailer"
The new full length trailer for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice dropped December 2nd and it arrives with a bunch of brand new footage.  The trailer opens with a heated conversation between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, and we can finally see the heroes interacting.  During this interaction, it’s clear that their points of view differ when Bruce Wayne confronts Clark Kent about all of the hero worship that the Daily Planet newspaper is showing Superman, and how it is not well deserved. This is also our first real glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in action. Even with his minimal screen time, his interpretation is wildly different than any Lex Luthor we have ever seen.  But it is still not clear what role his character will play in this film. There is also a shot near the end of the trailer of Wonder Woman fighting right beside Batman and Superman. Which leads one to believe that this movie is really not going to be very much Batman vs. Superman, as much as it will be Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman joining forces to fight something else. And that something else is the evil monster Doomsday. We see a dead General Zod being zipped into a body bag right before the next shot of Doomsday leaping into action. From this, the audience can easily tell that Zod and Doomsday are linked in some way.  And the major antagonist has now been revealed. batsda In my opinion, this trailer reveals entirely too much. The trailer is almost a synopsis of the entire film.  Batman and Superman will probably have one major fight; then get past their differences in order to join forces to defeat Doomsday. Lex Luthor will play a part in helping create Doomsday in order to kill Batman and Superman so they will not ruin his master plan to take over the world. Wonder Woman will be recruited for the team and used for extra manpower. We have seen enough superhero movies up to this point to know that the plot will go something along those lines. Unless there is a major plot point that Zack Snyder managed to keep secret, I do not think we are in for a big surprise. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
