Brett Gelman Joins Stranger Things Season 2

Stranger Things continues to expand its cast for season two, this time adding comedian Brett Gelman, according to Variety. Gelman will play a journalist named Murray Bauman who has been disgraced and is now turning his talents over to being a conspiracy theorist who is interested in a case Hawkins, Indiana. (Photo: John Parra/Getty Images) Gelman has previously had roles in Amazon’s Fleabag, HBO’s High Maintenance, and Comedy Central’s Another Period. He was also working with Adult Swim on a variety of projects, but recently broke off ties with them over their support of a show tied to the alt-right and white nationalists, according to Variety. Gelman is joining other new faces on Stranger Things season two, including Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Linna Berthelsen, Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. The main cast from season one will also be returning, including fan favorite, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven. The show hasn’t revealed any plot details for its sophomore season, but it has started production and it set to debut on Netflix in 2017.
