Turn off the Lights

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s Trailer Debut

Today is a big day for Call of Duty fans as Activision and Treyarch are finally able to show off the next iteration of the blockbuster franchise. It is no surprise that this year's game is Black Ops 2, but the setting this time around is a little different from past games as it takes place in 2025. Sergeant Frank Woods narrates the game's first trailer as it shows off what to expect from the campaign as Los Angeles is being one of the major cities destroyed. Newer vehicles are introduced to the franchise as well such as walking tanks and weird-looking helicopters. There is even a horseback chase sequence too as it tells that the campaign will be at various locales. Of course, there is also multiplayer for Black Ops 2; no official details have been revealed for now as we will find out in the coming weeks and months, but zombies will most likely be one of the modes returning since it is a staple for Treyarch's Call of Duty games. The official trailer that is also being shown during tonight's NBA playoff games on TNT is below. Even though Activision has not said anything yet about Playstation Vita and Wii U versions, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is going to be released on November 13 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
