Prometheus

Directed by Ridley Scott
Written by Jon Spaihts, Damon Lindelof
Starring: Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce

The pseudo-prequel to the Alien series, Prometheus was one of the most anticipated movies of 2012: it saw the return of Ridley Scott to the Alien world and to sci fi, had Damon Lindelof of Lost fame co-writing the script and an all-star cast. It was also one of the most divisive movies of the year among audiences.

In 2089, two archaeologists, Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green, Dark Blue) make an amazing discovery and lead a scientific exploration to another planet. Their hope is to discover the origins of man, but they'll have to battle with internal operational politics, a creepy android named David (Michael Fassbender) and worst of all, discover the horrible secrets of an alien race.
