Final ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Trailer Arrives

Holy crap, Batman.

With the summer season officially underway this week thanks to The Avengers, the marketing machine for one of if not the most anticipated film of the year has finally kicked into high gear after going quiet for five months. Earlier today, the official website for The Dark Knight Rises was updated to include a personal file detailing the case against Batman: listing his various "crimes" and how the mayor wanted him captured before "Harvey Dent Day."

Also included in the files were known locations in the world where graffiti supporting Batman could be found, instructing officers (i.e the fans) to snap photos and relay them back via Twitter. For every snapped photo, a single frame of the new trailer, set to debut in front of The Avengers Friday, was revealed.

Now, enough frames have been revealed that Warner Bros has officially put the trailer online. It features a lot more of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Gotham PD man John Blake, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle and Batman's (Christian Bale) new ride, The Bat. Oh, and a lot more questions, too.

Is it July 20 yet?
