Game of Thrones Actress Set to Join 24: Live Another Day
A small, but important cast shake-up has occurred on the upcoming
24 reboot. Word came down last week that Australian actress Judy Davis was exiting the series (which has been subtitled "Live Another Day").
Davis had been set to take on the new role of "Margo, the British widow of a notorious terrorist." With Davis stepping out, Fox has now announced that former
Game of Thrones star Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) will be taking over the role. While little is known about the character, it is widely speculated that Margo will be one of the villains that Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer will have to face down.

This new season of
24, the first since 2010, will be set in London with a now exiled Bauer coming out of hiding to help save the world from another catastrophe. The season already has a string of big names attached, including Tate Donovan (portraying the new President's Chief of Staff), and Benjamin Bratt and Yvonne Strahovski as CIA agents looking to track Bauer down. Familiar faces returning include Mary Lynn Rajskub reprising her role as Chloe and Kim Raver returning as Audrey, Jack's former girlfriend.
The series is currently shooting on location in London. Fox has set May 3, 2014 as the premiere date for
24:
Live Another Day.
