Gotham City Impostors Release Date Delayed

Previously we had reported that the upcoming Batman First Person Shooter, Gotham City Impostors would be released on January 10th, but an announcement from Warner Brothers today has changed the release to sometime in February.

Gotham City Impostors isn't a game where you play as Batman, but rather casts players as costumed crimefighters who pattern themselves after Batman, and try to rid the streets of Gotham from a gang of hooligans called the Jokerz who dress like The Joker's henchmen.

It's a multiplayer, team-based shooter that should be familiar to members of the Battlefield/Call of Duty crowd, but with a more colorful look and a light-hearted take on the shooter genre. It's developed by Monolith, who have made some other shooters with oddball takes on the genre, like Blood, F.E.A.R. and No One Lives Forever.

Gotham City Impostors will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  Check back with Player Affinity for more details on release dates.
