Hannibal Moved to Saturday Nights
Starting this week, NBC has announced that it will be banishing
Hannibal (and, for those still watching,
Aquarius) to Saturday nights. The shows will finish out their summer runs in the equivalent of television hell (as everyone knows that Friday night is television purgatory). The move isn't particularly surprising in the case of
Hannibal, which NBC cancelled earlier this summer. But, considering the network has renewed
Aquarius (despite the show flopping with critics and audiences alike), moving that series is a bit odd (although, to be fair, its whole season is available for streaming online already). Both will be replaced on Thursday nights with
Dateline Thursday Mysteries.

If you have been reading my
Hannibal reviews each week, a bit of housekeeping in light of this move. Rather than posting reviews on Sunday mornings, I'll put them up Sunday evenings (since even I like to have a bit of a weekend). So, look for this week's review on Sunday evening.
