Turn off the Lights

Matt Lauria, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Malcolm Barrett Join Dimension 404

Hulu’s new anthology series, Dimension 404, has cast Matt Lauria (Kingdom, Friday Night Lights, Parenthood), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect), and Malcolm Barrett (Better Off Ted, Dear White People). Dimension 404 is billed as a six-episode sci-fi/fantasy anthology series, similar to Black Mirror, which will tell standalone stories with each individual episode, populated by a completely new and changing cast week to week. The title was inspired by the Internet’s “404” error code and it aims to display the weird online stories that can’t be explained in life offline. According to Deadline, each of these actors will appear in different episodes. In one, Lauria will play Evan, an attractive well-intentioned husband who helps his family figure things out in a post-apocalyptic world. In a third episode, Barrett will join already announced cast members Megan Mullally and Constance Wu and appear as Chris, a programmer for the NSA’s top secret data-collection program. Others appearing in the series include Sarah Hyland, Patton Oswalt, Ashley Rickards, Joel McHale, Lea Michele, Ryan Lee, and Sterling Beauman.
