Image Comics iOS App Upgraded!

Comic publisher Image Comics and the largest digital comics platform comiXology recently announced an upgraded version of their Image Comics iOS App. The Image Comics iOS App was upgraded from version 2.0 to 3.1.

The Image Comics iOS Apps allows fans of Image Comics's series to download their comics (I'd love to add for free, but unfortunately they actually wanted to make money out of this venture). The new upgrade of the iOS App includes a new sleek design and interface, feature spotlights allowing fans to find obscure comics they may never have heard of from Image Comics, and the load times of the App have been cut down.

"Bringing the 3.1 interface to the Image Comics app is a huge win for Image Comics fans," comiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger gushes. "The Image Comics library is already a major cornerstone of the modern day comic industry and with 3.1 that library is now more accessible than ever."

"We couldn't be happier with the updated Image Comics iOS app and we can't wait for fans to see books like The Walking Dead, Saga, Fatale and The Manhattan Projects displayed in CMX-HD," Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson says. "Bringing the best digital reading experience to the best creator-owned comics just makes sense."

Features of the new Image Comics 3.1 iOS app include:

• Completely redesigned application
• CMX-HD compatibility
• Discover comics at much faster speeds
• Near instant launching
• Background downloading
• Improved "Instant Search"
• Separate "Purchases" area that displays all owned comics
• New series groupings in store and "My Comics"
• Buy or continue reading the next issue at the end of a comic
• Easily read comics from anywhere in the store.

Also, fan's now have the ability to buy Image Comics online but don't need to just read it on their computer – anything bought from Image Comics online store can now be synced with the Image Comics iOS App.
