Jesse Eisenberg Adapting Own Short Story for Amazon

Oscar-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg is the latest Hollywood star to sign-up to work on a new series for AmazonPrime. He will be adapting "Bream Gives Me the Hiccups," a series of short stories he also wrote, for the streaming site. Eisenberg_01 The series will air as half hour comedies, with Eisenberg executive producing and directing the project, alongside Ravi Nandran and John Hodges, who will also serve as executive producers. The initial script for the series was written by Eisenberg as well, based on the series of stories he wrote from 2012-2013 for McSweeney's. Little more is currently known about the potential series, including whether it will be required to go through Amazon's user voting system or if it will be ordered straight to series like Woody Allen's upcoming project. The book series focuses on a 9-year-old restaurant critic, who dines at restaurants alongside his alcoholic mother and his best friend Matthew. There are currently 12 stories in the series
