Josh Charles Joining Masters of Sex

Well, it looks like Josh Charles will be heading back to television for his first long-term story arc since his exit from The Good Wife back in 2014. Charles, whose decision to leave his role on the CBS series resulted in the surprise murder of his character, is set to take on the role of Daniel Logan on multiple episodes of Masters of Sex's upcoming third season.

The new season of Sex, which will feature a time jump to 1966 to allow the show to play out the repercussions of Masters and Johnson's sex study going national, will feature Charles as a businessman looking to create a perfume that bottles the smell of sex. Since Masters and Johnson are the experts in the field, Charles' character naturally seeks them out. No word on how long Charles' arc on the series will be, but the new season of Masters of Sex begins on June 12 on Showtime.
