Liz Sarnoff, writer and producer of Lost, and Tricia Small, film producer, have teamed up to create a production company that will be set up at Fox 21. Sarnoff and Small have subsequently made a pact with 20th Century Fox TV’s cable division. The business partnership will include work on the upcoming WGN drama series Salem.
Salem is WGN’s new series set to air in 2014 about the Salem witch trials in 17th Century Massachusetts. This is WGN America's first scripted drama, so the stakes are high. The show will uncover dark secrets and center around a historical romance.
