Nintendo Details Virtual Console Schedule for April, GBA Debuts

Since the Wii U will look a bit barren for retail releases, Nintendo will be filling the month with a ton of classics for the Virtual Console, most notably the debut of Game Boy Advance games. It seems Nintendo wants to debut the GBA with a bang, since many highly rated games for the platform will be available in the first month.

While the lineup is solid, it’s totally strange that the 3DS isn't getting the GBA love, especially since 3DS owners who paid $250 for the system got most of these games for free back in 2011 via the Ambassador program.
There is a catch to the GBA games: no multiplayer. Like playing GBA games on a Nintendo DS, the lack of a Link Cable port means that these games are limited to single-player play only. That means games that flourish with multiple people, like Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, will have its biggest selling point unavailable. This lack of linking copies also means to never expect Pokémon since it’s required to fully complete them.
Now let's start seeing some GameCube and Wii games, Nintendo.
