NX May Have Different D-Pad, Region Free

"And eject buttons!"
According to Let’s Play Video Games, Nintendo's NX will have features we’ve seen on the Dualshock 4 and more. NX-Layout-1 The overall theory on the NX is that it’s a handheld with the ability to be plugged into the TV. In addition the sides where you would have your buttons and sticks will be removable. This newest rumor stated the sides will plug in as previously said, but will have eject buttons so they stay locked in as long as the player wants it. Like the Dualshock controllers, it seems Nintendo will opt out of its iconic D-pad for one with a split in the middle. It will have its normal A, B, X, Y buttons as well as a Share button, a la the Dualshock 4. The share button should allow users to post content to Miiverse, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Around the device, there might be a camera, TV port (to turn it into a console) headphone jack, SD card slot, power button, motion control, vibration and cartridge slot. Most of these we’ve seen on the 3DS and/or Wii U, so no shockers here. The surprising part is that each detachable side can be two standalone controllers for some games, like Just Dance 2017. Lastly, the device could be region free, something we haven’t seen lately with Nintendo systems. There were also dimension specs, but it seems Let's Play Video Games retracted some of that, this is why we're thinking it of a rumor more than a leak. We’ll know more when Nintendo officially unveils the system sometime this year.
