‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Trailer Debuts

What?! You thought they were going to stop making "Resident Evil" films? You thought wrong; Milla Jovovich is back for a fifth time as the badass Alice in Resident Evil: Retribution. And her world has a narrator: Patrick Stewart.

Like most "Resident Evil" films, plot details are vague, but we've gleamed the following:

"Alice is captured by Umbrella and awakens in the heart of their operation facility; as she moves further in the complex more of her past is unveiled and continues to hunt for those responsible for the outbreak. Her quest takes her and her newfound allies from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow. After a 'mind-blowing' revelation, she is forced to rethink everything she once thought to be true."

Alice is hunting those responsible for the outbreak. You're stunned, we know. Much like the fourth film, "Afterlife," "Retribution" looks to take Alice globehopping, which seems easier than it should be when the world has been overun by infected. Paul W.S. Anderson, director of the first and fourth film (and Godfather of the series) returns to direct with Sienna Guillory and Oded Fehr set to return as series' stars Jill Vallentine and Carlos Olivera. Two characters from the games are making their big screen debut: Johann Urb as Leon S. Kennedy and Bingbing Li as Ada Wong (and yes, she's wearing the red dress). Michelle Rodriguez will return to the series as Rain, despite the fact her character was killed in the first film. Like the fourth film, "Retribution" is scheduled for a 3D release on Sept. 14 and wiill be distributed by Sony/Screen Gems.

Oh, and don't think we noticed that you "borrowed" Daft Punk's score from Tron: Legacy for your trailer, Mr. Anderson. Does this mean we'll get Alice on a light-cycle at some point? Please?
