The original Limbo, released in 2010 0on Xbox Live, is arguably one of the greatest platformers of this generation—its black-and-white moody tone mixed with excellent, addictive and intriguing gameplay made for a recipe for success. So naturally, a rumoured sequel is music to our ears! A Danish website got information on Playdead's next arcade game and when translated, it reads the following, "Through unique puzzles and changing scenarios narrated the story of one boys struggle against evil forces through questionable experiments on human bodies, trying to take over the world."
We currently have one image which makes Limbo 2 look as gruesome as its spider-stabbing predecessor. It also indicates that the next Limbo will be moving away from the black-and-white setting, as you can see some colour in the screenshot.
