For the past couple of weeks we have been seeing teasers for a new character named Alpha for the Amazing Spider-man. Marvel has finally revealed who this character is going to be. Alpha will be a teenage boy who gets zapped by a malfunctioned experiment. Peter feels that it is his responsibility to take this young boy under his wing as a sidekick. This is just one of the surprises Dan Slott has in store for Spider-man’s 50th anniversary. Alpha debuts in the Amazing Spider-man #692.
