The CW Unveils Posters and Promo Trailers for its New Shows

The CW has just unveiled key art designs for the 2012 fall launch campaign for its three new series, Arrow, Beauty & the Beast, and Emily Owens, M.D.. This follows the release of promotional trailers over the past seven days.

Arrow
The new drama is a modern retelling of the story of the DC Comics character Green Arrow (Stephen Amell), the billionaire playboy who moonlights as a vigilante. The series premieres on Wednesday October 10 at 8 p.m. EST.

Beauty and the Beast
A modern-day love story with a procedural twist. Kristin Kreuk (Smallville) is the beauty to Jay Ryan's beast. Beauty and the Beast premieres on The CW on Thursday, October 11 at 9 p.m.

Emily Owens, M.D.
Mamie Gummer stars as the title character, a newly minted doctor who discovers that, sadly and comically, life at the hospital where she is about to start her professional life is no different than high school. From the extended promo below, the series seems to be finding the right balance between the sad and the comical, but more importantly, it seems to be set in a world where adulthood is present, but not yet overwhelming (as the main character has not yet quite come of age).

The series also stars Justin Hartley as Will, Emily's medical school crush (and fellow first-year intern); Aja Naomi King as Cassandra, Emily's high school rival (and fellow first-year intern); Kelly McCreary as Tyra, Emily's first friend at the hospital; Michael Rady as surgeon Micah Ellis; and Necar Zadegan as specialist Dr. Gina Beckett.
Emily Owens, M.D. will premiere on The CW on Tuesday, October 16 at 9 p.m. EST
