Toy Story 4 coming in 2017

"To infinity and beyond!"
Toy Story is one of Pixar and Disney's most beloved franchises, making nearly $2 Billion collectively and all three movies have earned three near universal critical praise. The original Toy Story in 1995 was Pixar's first movie and put the studio on the map. Now Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger have announced they have making Toy Story 4 with John Lasseter returning to the director's chair. Lasseter said in a statement:
"We love these characters so much; they are like family to us We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. ‘Toy Story 3’ ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another ‘Toy Story’ movie. But when Andrew [Stanton], Pete [Docter], Lee [Unkrick] and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself." toy story team still
Celeste and Jesse Forever writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack have been hired to write the screenplay and Galyn Susman is set to produce. Toy Story 4 is set to be released in 2017. Since Toy Story 3 the characters we all know and love have appeared in two TV specials, Toy Story of Terror! and Toy Story That Time Forget and three theatrical shorts. Pixar's next movies Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur will be released in 2015 and the sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dora will be out on June 17, 2016.
