USA Sets Mr. Robot Premiere Date
The second season of USA's hit drama
Mr. Robot will premiere on July 13, the network announced today.
The Rami Malek-led drama premiered in the summer of 2015 to near universal critical acclaim and high ratings, marking a major step in the re-branding of USA, which was looking to move away from the older-skewing dramas that had become the network's calling card over the past several years.
Mr. Robot follows its unreliable narrator Elliot (Malek) as he and his band of fsociety hackers try to take down Evil Corp (yes, that is their real name).

The second season, which will include guest star turns from Craig Robinson, hip hop artist Joey Bada$$, Sandrine Holt, and Michael Maize, will deal with the fallout from the major hack at the season's end (complete with Grace Gummer joining the series as an FBI agent investigating the hack), along with Elliot's delicate mental state in light of last season's revelations.
Returning for the second season along with Malek will be BD Wong, Carly Chaikin, Christian Slater, Gloria Reuben, Michael Drayer, Michel Gill, Ron Cephas Jones, Sunita Mani, Azhar Khan and Ben Rappaport.
