XBLA Update – 1/12/11

Half the country may be frozen under a blizzard, but that doesn’t stop new Xbox Live releases from…also being frozen.

The biggest news this week comes from the Games on Demand section, where Super Street Fighter IV and Need for Speed SHIFT are both available this week for those who are snowed in at their homes, or simply don’t feel like driving to the store. The shoot-em-up Zeit 2 is the sole Arcade game released this week.

Rounding out this week are two sales, an Activision one which covers DLC for Guitar Hero and Call of Duty, as well as a few downloadable titles, and a temporary price slash on zombie-themed content (to go with musician Rob Zombie’s January 12 birthday, perhaps?).
