Abrams and King Collaborating on New Limited Series

J.J. Abrams and Stephen King are teaming up again for a new limited series on Hulu called Castle Rock. The two previously worked together on 11.22.63. Castle Rock is based on short stories by King and is named for the fictional area that serves as the setting for many of his stories, including The Dead Zone and Cujo. Abrams posted the first teaser (below), which features some creepy cryptic audio clips along with a zoomed out map of where Castle Rock is located in Maine. It also shows flashes of famous Stephen King characters and locations, like Pennywise from from IT and Danny Torrance from The Shining. The series is being written by Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason. The specific plot is still a mystery, but it is speculated that it could be an analogy series featuring many of King’s well-known stories. Are you excited for more Stephen King stories to hit the small screen? Which novel would you like to see recreated for Hulu?
