Assassin’s Creed 1 to be Bundled on Disc With All Copies of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Fans of Assassin's Creed who are looking to revisit the beginning or have never played the first iteration of the face-stabbing franchise have reason to rejoice, as it has just been announced that Assassin’s Creed 1 will come included on the disc of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. While the first game wasn’t necessarily the most distinguished, it did do many things that games up until then had never really touched (most notably well-done building climbing).

Because the game is on the disc, this means that presumably used copies of AC:R would have access to AC1 as well.  While many modern games have used the one-time use code to take care of extras like this, it seems like the gentlemen at Ubisoft Montreal may have caught on to the fact that Assassin’s Creed 1 may not have aged as well as they had hoped, and a good way to get out more copies of AC1, while concurrently promoting their newest outing, would be to bundle it on disc with Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

Revelations will be released right in the golden week of gaming on November 15th, 2011, so check it out to witness the conclusion of Desmond's, Altair's and Ezio’s tale, and score a copy of the game that started it all while you're at it.
