The Assassin's Creed universe already spans games, books and live action shorts, but Ubisoft has announced they will be continuing this trend by further expanding it with Assassin's Creed: Embers. Assassin's Creed: Embers is an animated short film announced by Ubisoft at Comic-Con and continues the story of Ezio Auditore. It's being told as an epilogue to the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Revelations and the trailer shows Ezio significantly older than when we last saw him and it shows him on the run from an unknown enemy. Ubisoft has revealed that the animated short goes for twenty minutes and will tell the final chapter of Ezio's life. The trailer shows off the cool art style that the short film will feature as well as the excellent voice acting and soundtrack commonly seen with any Assassin's Creed project. People wanting to get their hands on Assassin's Creed: Embers will have to preorder the signature or collector's edition of Assassin's Creed: Revelations in order to do so.
As well as announcing Assassin's Creed: Embers, UbiWorkshop (who puts together all these cool AC related side projects) announced that a collected edition of Assassin's Creed: The Fall is coming and a follow-up to that comic series called Assassin's Creed: The Chain is also on the way.
