Lead Writer Matt Turner has claimed the new Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed III, will feature more gameplay as Desmond Miles compared to the previous games in the series.
"All I can say about Desmond's story is you're going to experience more Desmond than you've ever had before," Turner said "We're spending more time on the present than we have in past games. It's a big part of our story and I don't really want to give too many details away because I want people to experience what that is," Turner added. "But rest assured, you're going to see a lot of Desmond. More so than in any past game."
Alexandre Amacio, Assassin’s Creed’s creative lead, had previously said that ACII would be the end of Desmond’s story. Also, Ubisoft have now confirmed that Desmond will use the Animus 3.0 in the game and will therefore no longer be in a coma.
Assassin’s Creed III is due to hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 30th. A Wii U version is also currently in development. Being a huge fan of Assassin’s Creed, I can’t wait to see the changes in heritage due for this game!
