With a reported leak of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and some customers claiming that their pre-orders were fulfilled early, the inevitable streams have popped up showing off gameplay. In response to a tweet about the leak, Bethesda’s VP of Public Relations and Marketing Pete Hines responded:
“@Gemonium What are you expecting me to say? Someone has a pirated copy of our game and is streaming it pre-launch. Um, I'm overjoyed.”
Also:
“@GuitarWizard90 No, I'm completely nonplussed by people who pirate our games, whatever their defense/rationale.”
