Borderlands Returns To IDW
The multimedia franchise that has become Borderlands
makes a bold return to the comics realm. Following in the footsteps of its previous IDW miniseries, the simply titled Borderlands: Origins
, the video game series redoubles efforts with the upcoming mini: The Fall of Fyrestone
. This series also sees the return of the creative team of Borderlands: Origins
. Writer Mikey Neumann, who also wrote the original game, and artist Agustin Padilla come back to bring more dynamic and eye-catching art and exciting adventurous escapades.
"Since we finished up Origins
, I've been waiting for the opportunity to continue onward in the story now that the Vault Hunters have met up on the bus,” says Neumann. “No, seriously. I've been waiting outside of Tom Waltz's house since we shipped the last issue. My hair has birds in it and I've been forced to eat them for nourishment. Tom doesn't look at me the same way anymore, but I know he's just as excited to be back (and also chuffed that I'm off his lawn)." The miniseries kicks off this July, please leave comments and thoughts on this new series below.
