Call of Duty XP Begins *

Regardless of how you feel about Call of Duty, Call of Duty XP is here.  The inaugural Call of Duty expo kicked off in Los Angeles and will be going strong this weekend.  The official site is featuring live streams and blogs going on during the convention.  Today's events include a one million dollar tournament, two panels (Black Ops Multiplayer and COD: Zombies-Origins and Evolutions) and a Kanye West concert to close it all out.

Scrapyard
Activision went really hardcore for this event.  They had zip lines set up for the attendees to experience as well as a 1:1 scale replica of Scrapyard where you can play paintball.  One of the highlight events, Pros vs. G.I. Joes, plays out over two days of the con.  A-list celebrity athletes, like NBA stars Russel Westbrook and Kevin Garnett, will be playing on teams against our real service men in Call of Duty multiplayer.

If you haven't checked it out already, they also have a new trailer for Modern Warfare 3 up on the official CODXP site as well as exclusive videos from the event. Were you hardcore enough to participate in the paintball combat?  Sound off in the comments.
