CastleMiner Z has set the record for the best-selling Xbox Live indie game ever. DigitalDNA announced today that the indie co-op survival horror game has sold over 1 million units since its release just over 10 months ago on November 9 2011.
The game is a blocky world-building survival game in a world that Minecraft players may find familiar. However, it uses Xbox Live avatars as playable characters and is available on Microsoft's Live Arcade at the price of just 80 Microsoft Points. DigitalDNA added that CastleMiner Z was the first game to remain the daily best-selling game on Xbox Live's indie channel for over 10 months.
