Turn off the Lights

Comic Con Movies: RED Panel

"Great to have guns instead of words. Long speeches are harder than shooting a gun" - Dame Helen Mirren on RED.

The movie adaptation of Retired Extremely Dangerous or RED for you acronym lovers, graces Comic Con with comics writer Warren Ellis, Karl Urban, Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker, Bruce Willis taking the stage.

Warren Ellis said the film is more of an adaptation more than a direct translation from the source material and he was glad they had a quality cast and director that were able to nail the tone.

The tale of retired spies got quite the warm reception and things continued to heat up with the debut of the new trailer which shattered the room apart when the lights came back on. Click here to watch the trailer exclusively at Apple.
Along with revelatory trailer appearances by Richard Dreyfuss and Ernest Borgnine, apparently there are more stars to come for the quickly expanding ensemble project which also stars Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich.

Speaking of Malkovich, he ramps up the crazy in the new clip, unless of course kissing a gun and cradling said gun like a baby is normal in your books.
