Crysis 3 Not Coming to the Wii U

It was the Crysis everyone wanted, but the CEO and founder of Crytek, Cevat Yerli, has confirmed that due to a lack of percieved business drive EA will not be focusing on a Wii U version of the first-person shooter.

"There has been discussions between Nintendo, EA, and Crytek, but the bottom line is that there is that there's not enough business drive in it." A one sentence quote from Yerli sums up the reasoning why it is not happening.

Despite understanding that the situation is purely a business situation, Yerli would liked to have worked on a Wii U version, but at the end of the day it would all come down to getting it published which is something that is out of Crytek's hands.

Despite this crisis, hope still remains to see the power of the Cryengine 3 on the Wii U (the engine behind Crysis 3) since last year Mr. Yerli did reveal that a respectable developer (yet to be named) is working on a Wii U game with said engine.
