Django Unchained

Quentin Tarantino has a big fan based and audiences were pleased with his latest movie, his reimagining of Django series. Jamie Foxx stars as the title character, Django, a slave who is brought by a German dentist turned bounty hunter, Dr King Schultz (Christoph Waltz, Inglourious Basterds). In exchange for finding a bounty on the Speck Brothers, Schultz offers Django his freedom, leading to the German teaching Django how to be a bounty hunter and the two going to save Django’s wife, Broomhilda (Kerry Washington, Lakeview Terrace) from a sadistic slave owner, Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio).

Iron Man 3 is set to hit theaters very soon. But that is not going to be the only Iron Man movie coming out. From Marvel Anime the are giving us Iron Man: Rise of Technovore where a young terrorist, Ezekiel Stane (Eric Bauza) attacks Stark Industries and it is up to Iron Man and other Marvel characters to stop him.

A Monster in Paris
is a French animated movie set in 1910 Paris where projectionist Emile (Jay Harrington) and inventor Raoul (Adam Goldberg) have to try and protect a monster they are created, a mutated flea called Francœur (Sean Lennon). But Francœur has fallen for a cabaret singer, Lucille (Vancessa Paradis) and he displays a unique talent for singing.

From Hong Kong is a martial arts movie starring martial arts star Donnie Yen. Yen stars as Liu Jinxi who wants escape his past and live a quiet in a Chinese village. But he is called into action when he saves the life of a shopkeeper from two notorious gangsters, leading Liu to face the Chinese underworld and a police detective (Takeshi Kaneshiro, Red Cliff).

Disneynature: Wings of Life

Disneynature have made a number of nature documentaries in recent years. Their latest movie Wings of Life focuses on winged creatures, bees, birds, bats and butterflies. Meryl Streep narrates this documentary focuses on the lives of these creatures, their importance to the food chain and pollination and how fast they are disappearing from the wild.

Repo Man

From the Criterion Collection this week is the Alex Cox socially satirical cult sci-fi comedy Repo Man. Emilio Estevez stars as Otto, a Los Angeles punk who quits his boring job in a supermarket to become a Repo Man Apprentice, working with a veteran, cynical man, Bud (Harry Dean Stanton) as they explore a strange landscape.
