Double Fine’s Adventure Game Named Broken Age

Double Fine has announced that its new adventure game is called Broken Age. The news came via Double Fine’s panel at PAX East which also coincided with the reveal of Broken Age's Official Site.


After releasing the platform adventure game "The Cave," Double Fine has announced a new title according to their website. Named Broken Age the game “is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster, but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue.”

Broken Age
Broken Age was previously codenamed "Reds" and was funded by a Kickstarter last March. It will be coming to PC, iOS, Android, Mac, Linux, and Ouya at launch.

Now days I mainly play PC games and got into the PC side of things when I started playing Everquest in 2005. This game opened my eyes to the mmorpg genre and since then have played most MMO's of which World of Warcraft was my most played. Right now I'm playing and streaming DayZ and FIFA with a few other games thrown in here and there. I've worked as a hardware/software technician for Apple the past 4 years and really enjoy working with computers. I have built/modded/overclocked PC's since around 2007 and it's a massive interest of mine. My other hobbies include video editing, carp fishing, golf and playing guitar.
