Fox Orders New 24 Series Pilot Without Jack Bauer

"Live Another Day, Disappear the Next"
24 will live on, but without Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer. Fox has ordered a pilot for 24: Legacy, an ongoing series featuring an entirely new cast of characters. Howard Gordon, Manny Coto, Evan Katz, and Brian Grazer will executive produce the project, with Stephen Hopkins, director of the original 24 pilot, set to direct the pilot episode. Meanwhile, the female lead is a former head of the CTU.  Like the original series, 24: Legacy will occur in real-time, with each episode representing one hour of the day.
