Adrianne Palicki, who starred on NBC's Friday Night Lights, is probably best known for her role in the Wonder Woman pilot that was rejected earlier this year. Palicki will play the female protagonist of Paramount and Jon M. Chu’s G.I Joe: Cobra Strikes, the sequel to Stephen Sommers’ 2009 blockbuster G.I. Joe: the Rise of Cobra. Deadline Hollywood reports that Palicki will star as covert operations specialist Lady Jaye.
Paramount is seeking actors to play Joe Colton, the first G.I. Joe. Bruce Willis is one candidate thus far. I'm excited to see what happens with the rest of the casting.
