This seems like the full version of that teaser that showed up not too long ago. The first thing that jumps right out at you is the improvement on the technical front, Gears 3 looks a lot better than the previous games and the shots of the campaign show off some amazing things that we didn’t see in the beta. That annoying general from Gears 2 is back and so are the Carmine clones, but hey, with the good always comes the bad.
We do see some pretty amazing shots of the new Lambent locust, the Berserkers were a favourite of mine from the original so it’s great to see them back in a new way. There also seems to be a glimpse of some kind of underwater section, it’s hard to know for sure whether that will be playable from this trailer though.
As usual, you can’t say too much regarding a trailer, because it is just that. However, if we let ourselves say just one thing, Epic really seem to bringing everything they have to give Gears of War the send off it deserves. Gears of War 3 launches worldwide on September 20th and it can’t come soon enough.
