Gotham recasts Poison Ivy for Season Three

Ivy Pepper is growing up and becoming Poison Ivy in the upcoming third season of Gotham. Maggie Geha will be playing this iconic DC Comics villain, replacing Claire Foley, who portrayed young Ivy since the show’s first season, according to Variety. maggiegeha Geha previously appeared in Ted 2 and The Rewrite. She had a supporting role in In Stereo and will also star in the upcoming thriller The Harrow. In season three of Gotham, Ivy will make the transformation into a full-fledged villain due to a brush with one of Hugo Strange’s creatures, according to FOX’s character breakdown. Now that she is older and has harnessed the full power of her charms, she will decide to go after Bruce Wayne. Poison Ivy first appeared in DC Comics's Batman issue #181 in 1966 and is one of Batman’s most enduring enemies. She is obsessed with plants, botany, ecological extinction, and environmentalism. She uses toxins from plants and mind-controlling pheromones to terrorize Gotham City. Fox has announced that the Mad Hatter and Gotham Gazette reporter Valerie Vale will also be joining the upcoming season of Gotham.
