Turn off the Lights

It’s Not a Tumor or a Comic

Remember all the all inspiring “The Governator” products and project that were coming our way that involved comics from Archie Comics, an animated TV series, a 3-D movie and an array of consumer products? It was a joint effort between, A Squared, Archie, and POW comics.

It basically would have seen the extra awesome idea of a recently retired governor of California deciding to take on global villainy and disasters with the help of a team of teens. He’ll be living a double life with his heroics a secret even from his family.  Sucks right?

Well, the sex scandal arising from the divorce of former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger have apparently put an end to Stan Lee’s Governator project. The official announcement comes just a few hours after Schwarzenegger said he was putting all his future acting gigs in a holding pattern.

A rep for the animated project -- Arnold's first after leaving office -- tells TMZ, "In light of recent events, A Squared Entertainment, POW, Stan Lee Comics, and Archie Comics, have chosen to not go forward with the Governator project."

The rep would not specify if the project is completely dead or just postponed until Arnold's personal issues blow over.

Well it good to know that Califorina wasn't he only thing that Arnie was screwing. Swish!
