‘Man of Steel’ Logo Revealed

If you're picky about the way the letter "S" fits inside a five-sided diamond, you can rest at ease knowing the folks behind the latest big-screen interpretation of Superman have done a bang-up job.

Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder have revealed the logo art for Man of Steel, the latest reboot of the iconic hero due next summer. The image definitely plays up the whole "steel" idea with shiny title letters and the red metallic logo that appears as if recently removed from a blacksmith's coals: classic, but edgy. Next up hopefully a teaser trailer, though you can expect to wait—its bound to play before The Dark Knight Rises in July.

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as General Zod along with Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and others. It is set for release on June 14, 2013.
