Mass Effect 2 Hitting PSN January 18th

Mass Effect 2 is right around the corner, and if you don't feel like heading to a physical store to do your shopping, PlayStation Store is hosting the entire game the same day the game is released. This upcoming Tuesday, look for the game to appear in the PlayStation Store's weekly update. You may want to clear some room on the hard drive, as the game if going to be a sizable download of over 10GB if it's any indication of the size of the current releases. Both the Blu-Ray disc and the PSN copy of the game will be priced at $60.

This is more than just a port of Mass Effect 2 currently on the Xbox 360 and the PC. The PlayStation 3 version of the game will use Mass Effect 3's new gaming engine. For your gaming pleasure, a demo is on the PlayStation Store at this moment for you to check out.
