Netflix Make a Four Picture Deal with Adam Sandler

Netflix have become a powerhouse in home entertainment, streaming movies and producing their own TV shows like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black. The company are now moving into the movie making business by making their own movies and have made a deal with Adam Sandler to star in and produce four movies. This is an unusual step for Sandler because he has been a box-office juggernaut with many of his movies being big hits regardless of quality. The movies will be produced by Sandler's production company Happy Madison. Earlier this week Netflix made a deal with The Weinstein Company to distribute Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, the sequel to 2000 Oscar Winner Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
