It looks like a new character is coming soon to Borderlands 2. Gearbox Software debuted a new teaser trailer this past weekend at SXSW which seems to show a sixth Vault Hunter for Borderlands 2. Not much is known at this time, but you can see the trailer below and see what was teased.
The character seems to be more melee-oriented that most of the crew who prefer to use guns. The teaser contains the words "Deep beneath Pandora, an experiment has escaped, Bandits beware, a new vault hunter is coming. More mayhem awaits." We also see shots of someone beating up enemies with no remorse. Gearbox franchise director Matt Armstrong has said, "I don't think you'll have to wait long until you see that character."
Gearbox have confirmed the character won’t be included in the season pass and will have to pay for this content separately. This means current pass holders will have one more pack to look forward to after this release. We are sure to hear more on this new downloadable content for Borderlands 2 very soon.
