New TMNT Miniseries a Time Traveling Adventure

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been just about everywhere. In their newest adventure, it’s not so much a matter of where as of when. With the 30th Anniversary of the acclaimed series almost upon us, IDW is putting out a miniseries that promises to be one of their most timeless undertakings to date! Taking on dinosaurs, pirates, and samurai, the loveable mutated reptiles must emerge successful from this quest or face the consequences: a dark and dreary alternate future. With everything on the line, will Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael pull through to save the world?

Written by Paul Allor (Strange Nation) and Erik Burnham (Ghostbusters), with each issue featuring a new time-travelling themed cover by renowned artist David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Turtles in Time promises to usher in the anniversary with style. To keep things fresh, every issue will feature a different interior artist, with Ross Campbell kicking it all off. Keep your eyes peeled for more talented contributions. With Turtles In Time, IDW hopes to add depth and continuity to the beloved series and its pizza-crazed heroes. The miniseries is expected to debut in June in celebration of the May 1984 creation of TMNT by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It will also garner excitement for the upcoming film produced by Michael Bay.
