Outlander Season 3 Premiere Date Announced

Starz has announced that Outlander won’t be returning until September of this year. No exact date was provided for the season three premiere, but fans can breathe a sigh of relief that they at least know the month of its return. Season two premiered in April 2016, which means this is a longer wait than viewers were hoping for, but Starz assures fans that the next season will be worth the wait. Starz also revealed that the third season will be made up of 13 episodes filmed in Scotland and South Africa, where the season's five episodes were shot.
