Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man Costume Fully Revealed Alongside Teaser Trailer
Following an
ant-sized teaser poster for their new superhero flick
Ant-Man, Marvel this week unveiled Paul Rudd in full glory as the titular character,
exclusively to Entertainment Weekly. The issue, out this week, promises a set-visit and exclusive interviews with the cast and crew of the much-anticipated film.
And that's not all the news, during the premiere of
Marvel's Agent Carter last night, Marvel unveiled the first teaser for the movie (which you can watch
here). Thankfully not leaked before its premiere at the tail-end of
Agent Carter's two-hour premiere, the teaser provides more than a few glimpses into the tone, setting and look of the film as a whole, with a few shots of Rudd's Scott Lang rocking his shrinking abilities.
Though many still bemoan the egress of Edgar Wright from the project, and many
took to Twitter to negatively dissect the film's under-two-minute teaser (even causing it to trend nationally for a while), it's easy to forget that Marvel's brought on dark horse directors before and created what are now fan-favorites. The Russo Bros. with
Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and even James Gunn with
Guardians of the Galaxy, to a certain extent.
Excited or not, Marvel's
Ant-Man crawls into theaters July 17.
