PC Getting Xbox Version of The Witcher 2

Last year's awesome PC exclusive game The Witcher 2 has been slowly making its way to the Xbox 360.  Along the way, the developers CD Projekt RED  have been touting all the cool enhancements that are being stuffed into the console version.  Well, PC gamers won't be getting the shaft, rather we'll be getting all of the new tweaks and content that the console crowd gets.

The content includes a new CGI game intro, plus several other new cinematics.  There will be additional quests, locations, and new NPCs too.

Adam Badowski,  head of CD Projekt RED  says “The Xbox 360 version is a complete adaptation of the game to the new platform, we’ve rewritten the code so it feels native to the console. This latest version of The Witcher 2 has been expanded in many ways, and some experts believe it to be one of the best-looking games ever to make it to consoles.  PC users who already own the game will be happy to learn that they will be able to download all the added content free of charge. At the same time, the Xbox 360 version will incorporate all DLCs and upgrades made available thus far for the game’s original platform”.

The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox will hit store shelves on April 17 2012.  Details about the various editions can be found on The Witcher' s website.  The new intro movie can be seen below.
